“Passion in portraiture goes deeply as one value and enjoys each rise and fall of life.” One of the inspiring things I truly believe in. Call me NATHAN, an amateur photographer from the Philippines. My fervor in art started when I was younger, back to the time when my painter uncle opened up my eyes in the magical world of art. Alluring faces and fantastic scenic spots have unleashed the artistic side of me. From then on, I started cultivating God’s gift to me with my own hands and made those dreams turn into reality. They know me as someone who creates brilliant works of art. And I say, good works of art comes from one’s hand, but great works of art comes from one’s heart. I do my masterpieces with so much love and inspiration. Love leads me to creating distinct pieces which I drew off from my elusive fantasies and dreams. It is art that gives it life. When the time I knew that I should be in the realm of photography, I adhere to join a group of photographers called "Lensmate" during 2009. Lensmate gave me a wider view and a better perspective on how life should be captured. As I now consider, photography is not only about pictures, it’s a reflection of existence. | | It’s Saturday like no other. It’s neither about the unpredictable weather nor the passers by. It’s the participant’s significant presence, the models’ enthusiasm and confidence, the talents’ artistry, and the guests’ willingness that made the event as successful as I thought it could be. With that, I would like to express my gratitude for all the people behind this very unforgettable workshop. Thanks to all of you! My pleasure working with you all.
As I expected it to be, Intramuros has never failed to show its timeless beauty. Its wonder can be seen regardless of how many years had past. It’s truly an epitome of historic lure and valor. Indeed a delight to ensue a workshop at the heart of Manila.

| | Finally, I found a new model which is different. Why? because she's a Half Blood Korean Cute Girl. The day was fun and exciting even though it's too hot in Fort Santiago. This is just a fun shoot with her in preparation with our next project "graffiti" theme. In the middle of my post processing, I looked in some of my photos and great to see myself holding my cam into her eyes. Her eyes shows innocence and too catchy...

| | This is the first project of 2010 and featuring my new model with our long lost friends. Unexpectedly, we came to the location at around 10 in the morning, With a very limited time we're still able to use the whole park although there were staffs arranging at the center for the wedding event. The shoot went successful with fun and smile with her face as she enjoys the rythm of the music.

Location: Makiling Los Banos, Laguna | | Right after the shades project which is her concept and ideas, I immediately organize this project. I love this place, the fresh water, the big rocks, trees and all greens away from a polluted city.
I never thought that Kathie is an adventurous woman, she gaves her best to this project as she goes down and up from those giant rocks with a stream of water. And also for my team, my MUA and Richard, both of them chase the light for us...

| | After a month of waiting for the available day of Imee, finally we had a great great day of shoot in Parks n Wild Life @ Quezon City. She had shown a different character today from what i have known her when we were in high school. I was surprised the way she projects in the camera which seems she's telling a story into my eyes. Beautiful? Yes, she really is, beauty that continuously growing...

| | At first, i never thought that this shoot will be successful. Why? because the location requires us to have a permit first which I didn't know. And so, we had our lunch first and I immediately get the permit, yet finally the day became a success.
This is the first time to shoot with this model, a different character I've made to her from her sexy role in other magazine like FHM.

 | Hi Nathan. Excellent pictures! They look like they were shot by a pro. If you started shooting only in '09, your progress is pretty impressive, albeit I can see clearly that you rely more heavily on manipulation rather than enhancement (which are entirely different things). Nevertheless, they look great! Thanks for sharing. May I also suggest playing with a fully manual film camera to further master the true art of photography.
